Tips for a scavenger hunt guests actually finish
- Put one card on every table, or one at each place setting for smaller weddings.
- Ask your DJ or MC to announce the hunt after dinner is served, so guests have time before the dancing starts.
- Ten to fifteen prompts is the sweet spot. More than twenty and most guests won't finish.
- Mix easy prompts (your table's centerpiece) with a few that get people talking to guests they don't know.
- Offer a small prize for the table that finds everything first, or the funniest photo.
- Give guests one place to send their photos. A QR code on the card beats a hashtag: nothing gets lost and no one needs an app.

Photo scavenger hunt questions
What is a wedding photo scavenger hunt?
A list of photos for guests to take during the wedding, like “the first dance”, “a selfie with someone you just met” or “the best shoes in the room”. It's printed on a card at each table, often called an I Spy card. Guests get to know each other, and you end up with hundreds of candid photos your photographer would never catch.
Is this scavenger hunt generator free?
Yes. No sign-up, no watermark and no limit on cards. Everything runs in your browser and nothing you type is stored.
How many prompts should a wedding I Spy card have?
Between 10 and 15 works for most weddings: enough to keep guests busy through dinner, few enough that tables can finish. Families with kids enjoy shorter lists of 6 to 10.
How do I print the cards at the right size?
Pick 5×7, 4×6, A5 or Letter, then press Print and set the scale to 100% (or “Actual size”) with margins set to none. For a print shop or the most reliable result, download the PDF: it's exactly the card size at 300 dpi. Print on matte card stock so the QR code scans under venue lighting.
How do guests share the photos they take?
Add a QR code to the card that opens a shared album. BridaLens gives you a private wedding gallery with its own QR code: guests scan it and upload photos, videos and voice messages from their phone browser, with no app or account, and you download everything in one zip. It's $24.99, one-time.
Can I use it for a bridal shower or bachelorette?
Yes. Pick Bridal shower, Engagement party or Bachelorette and the prompts change to suit, from the gift table to karaoke. You can also edit any prompt to fit your day.
